“Take your cracker-game up a notch with my delicious seed crackers! These are ridiculously easy to make and not only are they super nutritious, but they are also gluten-free, grain-free and if you leave off the parmesan cheese, they are dairy-free too.”

seed crackers gluten free

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of chia seeds
  • 1 cup of flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup of pepitas
  • 1/2 cup of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 cups of water
  • Grated parmasan (optional)
  • Sea salt

Method

  1. Mix all the seeds together.
  2. Add in rosemary and garlic and mix well.
  3. Add in the water and mix well to combine. Allow to stand for a few minutes or until the seeds have soaked up all the water.
  4. Line 2 – 3 baking trays with baking paper and spread the mixture thinly and evenly over them. You want it to be about 2mm thick.
  5. Sprinkle with salt (and grated parmasan if you choose) and then bake in low oven (140 degrees celcius) for 2 hours or until super crispy. (I know it’s a long time, but trust me – it will be worth it!)
  6. Allow to cool and then snap into pieces.
  7. Enjoy with your favourite toppings!
